What do De Chirico's paintings and the neoclassical sculptures of Canova and Thorvaldsen have in common? Different in eras and styles, they are connected to each other by the metaphysical atmospheres of the photographs of Vasco Ascolini (1937), on display in the rooms of the Bagatti Valsecchi House Museum. Environments in which time seems suspended, as in the 70 shots by Ascolini which fix fragments and statuary elements, similar to those of De Chirico's canvases (in the photo) exhibited together with plaster casts by Canova and Thorvaldsen. From June 16th to December 3rd. Chosen because It is a dialogue between painting, sculpture and photography, in which the shots interact with works of art and with the rooms of the house-museum.
