Among the best known protagonists of American contemporary art Bruce Nauman (1941) puts the main elements of his work, his relationship through the viewer and the circulating space, experimenting with architecture, light, dreams, written language and video. Starting from "Corridors", a narrow built environment of 1969 and already experienced directly in his historical performance of 1968 "Walk with Contrapposto", then re-proposed to the public as places to go through to test the perception of space, between physical movements and emotional reactions . Works on display until February 26, 2023 in the great anthology of Pirelli HangarBicocca, curated by Roberta Tenconi and Vicente Todolì, which recorded 40 years of Nauman's activity, showing the different types of corridors and rooms, neon, video and sound installations; and tunnels, as sculptural examples for underground architecture.
